Through engaging sessions, case studies, and group work, the attendees explored how empathy influences decision-making, team performance, and workplace culture.

The second day of the workshop built on these foundations, exploring critical topics such as giving and receiving feedback, coaching and mentoring, and managing conflict, stress, and anger in challenging work settings. Participants also worked on self-motivation techniques, strategies for inspiring others, and drafted personal action plans to carry forward their learning into real-world leadership scenarios. The event closed with group discussions, reflections, and a renewed sense of purpose among the participants.

Speaking at the end of the session, Quazi M. Ahmed remarked, โ€œEmpathetic leadership is no longer optional it is essential. Leaders must listen more, judge less, and act with compassion. That is the path to sustainable team performance and organizational excellence.โ€

The workshop was a resounding success and received enthusiastic feedback from attendees, further cementing BRAC Bankโ€™s commitment to fostering emotionally intelligent leadership within its workforce. This initiative reflects the bankโ€™s broader vision of developing future-ready leaders who can drive performance while nurturing a culture of care, inclusion, and trust.
